Self Medical Leave

The State of Texas does not require paid medical leave (though some cities in Texas do), and sometimes unpaid medical leave is not an option. You may qualify for leave as a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act, which you can read about here.

You may also qualify 12 weeks of unpaid medical leave under the federal law, the Family Medical Leave act, which you can read about at this link.

Paid Medical Leave during COVID-19 Crisis
